Shared albums work, but only if everyone is on the same phone platform and willing to accept an invitation. At a family reunion spanning four generations, that assumption breaks immediately.
A QR code makes no assumptions. If a phone has a camera and a browser, it works — which covers everyone in the room, including the relatives who joined the group chat and then left it.

- Which kinds of events does this cover?
- Family reunions, wedding anniversaries, graduations, retirements, baby showers, engagement parties, housewarmings, team send-offs — anything where the guests are the ones holding the photos. The prompts and the printed wording adjust to the occasion you pick.
- Some of our guests are not comfortable with technology.
- There is nothing to install and no account to create. Pointing a phone camera at the card opens the page — the same gesture people already use for restaurant menus. Everything else is one tap.
- Can several people help run it?
- Yes. The private management link can be shared with whoever is organising, so more than one person can add details before the day and review uploads afterwards. There is no password to coordinate.
- What if the party runs longer than planned?
- Uploads stay open for 24 hours after the end time by default, and you can extend that from your dashboard at any point — including after the event has finished.
- Is there a limit on how many photos guests can upload?
- Each photo can be up to 20 MB and guests can select 20 at a time, then repeat as often as they like. In practice nobody hits a wall; the constraint is how many photos people take, not how many they may send.
- Do guests see each other's photos?
- Not while the event is collecting — guests see only what they themselves have added. Everything comes together on the finished page afterwards, once you have had the chance to review it.
